An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bulk Fuels Scheduler to join a highly successful Transport Company operating throughout the UK. Based at the companies head office in Laindon, Essex. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bulk Fuels Scheduler to join a highly successful Transport Company operating throughout the UK. Based at the companies head office in Laindon, Essex the successful candidate will have previous bulk fuels scheduling along with knowledge and experience of working in a busy traffic office environment. In this varied and busy role the candidate will be responsible for:- * Taking care of the scheduling for four terminals
* Be responsible for up to 14 double shifted vehicles on a 7 day, 24 hour shift pattern
* Allocating jobs
* Routing vehicles for each shift
* Producing routing sheets and delivery notes
* Liaising and scheduling with drivers on all contracts
* Producing reports for tracking purposes
* Using the company tracking system to keep traces on all vehicles
* Reporting incidents to relevant departments within the company The successful candidate will need to be extremely well organised and capable of working well in a pressurised and busy environment. Good IT and skills are essential for this role and the candidate should be comfortable working with Microsoft office including word, excel and outlook. The position attracts a competitive salary and is ideally suited to someone who can demonstrate energy, enthusiasm, flexibility and strong communication skills. The ideal person for this role should have good problem solving skills along with the ability to deal with difficult people and stressful situations. Hours of Work The hours of work are to be negotiated with the successful candidate however, as a guideline our client would be looking at standard hours being Monday to Friday 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. These hours are not set in stone and the candidate should be fully flexible to cover nights, weekends etc. as our client runs a 24/7 operation. Salary £25,000 - £28,000 + Overtime, dependant on experience. Benefits * A stakeholder pension 4% Ers + 4% Ees
